Hawthorne Surgical Center is a freestanding outpatient facility providing nearly 6,000 surgical procedures annually in eight specialties.

Forsyth Regional Orthopaedic Center is one of the 100 best-performing hospitals for orthopaedic services, according to a 2000 study by the HCIA-Sachs Institute. These hospitals have better patient outcomes than their peers, which helps patients return to normal life routines after treatments and surgery. The Center has state-of-the-art facilities at Forsyth Medical Center and Medical Park Hospital.
